Memmert ICH750L – Climate chamber for stability testing
The Memmert ICH750L climate chamber is specially designed to meet the demanding requirements of stability testing and environmental studies in pharmaceutical, cosmetic and research laboratories. Compliant with international regulations such as ICH, WHO, EMA, ASEAN, GMP, GLP and GCCP, it provides a perfectly controlled environment for the storage and evaluation of samples over long periods of time. Its generous 749-litre volume and precise control allow it to accommodate a large number of samples while ensuring the reproducibility of experimental conditions.
One of the major advantages of the ICH750L is its exceptional temperature and humidity uniformity, ensured by an enveloping air heating system and adjustable forced air circulation. Conditions can be maintained from 0 to 60°C without humidity, or from +10 to +60°C with humidity and/or light. Accuracy is guaranteed thanks to redundant Pt100 sensors, which provide constant monitoring and take over in the event of failure. Humidity is actively controlled from 10 to 80% RH by an integrated steam generator and a self-priming pump supplied with distilled water from an external tank.
The unit features digital TwinDISPLAY control with dual high-definition TFT colour screens, offering intuitive navigation and precise programming of all parameters: temperature, humidity, light, ventilation, duration and time cycles. Daylight and UV lighting can also be programmed independently, allowing various exposure conditions to be simulated. The SetpointWAIT function ensures that test timing only starts when the programmed conditions are reached, guaranteeing maximum accuracy of experimental data.
In terms of safety, the ICH750L is equipped with multiple protective devices: mechanical temperature limiter, over- and under-temperature monitoring systems, adaptive ASF protection, integrated diagnostics and visual and audible alarms. The AutoSAFETY system automatically adjusts the safety thresholds around the setpoint, cutting off heating or cooling if they are exceeded. The unit also has a built-in documentation system that retains data even in the event of a power failure, as well as AtmoCONTROL software for managing, programming and transferring settings via USB or Ethernet.
The ICH750L design combines robustness and practicality. Its interior is made of easy-to-clean electropolished stainless steel and accepts adjustable shelves that can support up to 30 kg each. The double-glazed, insulated stainless steel door ensures a perfect seal while allowing the contents to be viewed without disturbing the internal conditions. Mounted on lockable castors, the unit can be easily moved around the laboratory. Its cooling system uses environmentally friendly R290 refrigerant, reducing environmental impact while maintaining optimum energy efficiency.
