Memmert ICP750 – High-precision refrigerated incubator for optimal temperature control
The Memmert ICP750 compressor-based refrigerated incubator is designed to meet the needs of laboratories, research centres and industrial facilities requiring precise temperature control over a wide range from -12 °C to +60 °C. Its control technology ensures high thermal stability, making the unit ideal for processes requiring rapid transitions between low and high temperatures. At the heart of the ICP750 is an air jacket heating system that ensures even heat distribution throughout the chamber. This process limits sample drying by thermally separating the cooling device from the interior space. Combined with an efficient cooling system using CFC-free R290 refrigerant, it offers optimised energy performance while complying with environmental standards.
The device is controlled by the ControlCOCKPIT TwinDISPLAY interface. This solution combines a multifunction digital PID microprocessor and two high-definition colour screens. Users can set the temperature to the nearest tenth of a degree, manage the ventilation speed, program complex sequences and view operating parameters in real time. In addition, the SetpointWAIT option ensures that the timer only starts once the target temperature has been reached, thus ensuring the accuracy of experimental protocols.
Safety is at the heart of the ICP750's design. The device incorporates an AutoSAFETY system that automatically monitors temperature deviations and triggers visual and audible alarms in the event of an anomaly. In the event of overheating, the heating is interrupted, while in the event of too low a temperature, the compressor is shut down. Redundant Pt100 sensors and automatic fault diagnosis add an extra level of reliability, minimising the risk of experimental errors.
The spacious 749-litre interior is made entirely of high-quality stainless steel, offering corrosion resistance and ease of cleaning. The cabinet can accommodate up to fourteen levels of electropolished shelves for flexible arrangement according to requirements. The total load capacity is 200 kg, with a maximum of 30 kg per shelf, allowing a large number of samples to be incubated or stored simultaneously.
The ICP750 is designed for easy installation thanks to its lockable castors. The doors, available with insulated stainless steel interior and exterior glass panels with two-point locking, ensure excellent thermal insulation while allowing easy viewing of the contents. A high-performance automatic defrosting system prevents excessive frost formation, ensuring minimal maintenance and consistent performance over time.
Thanks to its AtmoCONTROL software, programmes can be created, managed and transferred via Ethernet or USB connection. Data is saved even in the event of a power failure, ensuring continuity and traceability of operations. This connectivity also allows for seamless integration into automated or connected work environments.
