IM-3 professional inverted microscope for biological applications
The OPTIKA IM-3 is a high-quality inverted microscope designed to meet the demands of modern laboratories. It allows for bright field and positive phase contrast observations thanks to a state-of-the-art optical system and precision mechanical components. Its inverted design facilitates the analysis of samples in containers such as Petri dishes, multi-well plates or standard slides, making the IM-3 particularly suitable for cell cultures and biological applications.
IOS optics and X-LED8 illumination for exceptional clarity
The IM-3 is equipped with IOS LWD W-PLAN PH objectives with anti-fungal treatment, ensuring superior image quality and long life. Available objectives include 10x, 20x and 40x magnifications with long working distances (W.D. up to 7.3 mm), allowing observation without direct contact with the sample. The 8 W X-LED8 lighting system offers a colour temperature of 6,300 K and a service life of over 65,000 hours, ensuring uniform and long-lasting illumination. Manual brightness control allows the intensity to be precisely adjusted to the user's needs.
Ergonomics, precision and modularity at the service of the researcher
The 45° inclined Siedentopf trinocular head with dioptre adjustment on the left tube and adjustable interpupillary distance (50–75 mm) ensures optimal comfort. The coaxial focusing system, with 0.2 mm fine adjustment per rotation and 2 µm resolution, allows for precise manipulation. The 250×160 mm fixed stage is equipped with interchangeable glass or metal inserts and can be supplemented with an optional mechanical stage with 120×80 mm X-Y translation. The long working distance Abbe condenser (up to 150 mm) is equipped with an iris diaphragm and a phase contrast slider, optimised for 4x to 40x objectives.
