Heratherm IMH 100: High-precision microbiological incubator for laboratory applications
The Thermo Scientific Heratherm IMH 100 is an incubator designed to meet the demands of modern laboratories. Thanks to its mechanical convection technology, it ensures uniform temperature distribution throughout the workspace, guaranteeing optimal conditions for cell culture and microbiological analysis. The temperature is adjustable with an accuracy of 0.1 °C up to a maximum of 105 °C, allowing complete control of experimental parameters.
The unit is equipped with a variable speed fan, adjustable via the control panel, to adapt the air flow to the specific requirements of each protocol. This flexibility is enhanced by the presence of two perforated stainless steel shelves, which can be easily repositioned thanks to a modular rail system. A 42 mm access port allows sensors or tubes to be inserted without compromising the thermal integrity of the internal environment.
Safety, reliability and intelligent control
Safety is at the heart of the Heratherm IMH 100's design. It incorporates an overheating protection system, which is automatically activated in the event of controller failure, as well as a visual and audible alarm relay. The PT100 sensor ensures precise temperature control, while the multifunction control panel provides intuitive access to settings, cycle programming and error logs.
The device is compatible with an RS-232 interface for data monitoring and recording, facilitating integration into laboratory management systems. It can also be connected to an external alarm system via a potential-free contact, enhancing the monitoring of critical processes.
Robust design and simplified maintenance
The interior of the incubator is made entirely of smooth, corrosion-resistant stainless steel that is easy to disinfect. Cleaning is facilitated by the simple disassembly of internal components, such as air deflectors and shelves. The outer door is equipped with a replaceable silicone seal, ensuring a perfect seal and effective thermal insulation.
The Heratherm IMH 100 is designed to operate in demanding laboratory environments, with an ambient temperature of 18 to 32 °C and a maximum relative humidity of 80% without condensation. It can be installed on a dedicated stand to prevent contamination by biological agents present on the floor.
