Memmert IN30plus Incubator: Precision for Life Sciences
Designed specifically to meet the needs of demanding sectors such as scientific research, medicine, pharmaceuticals and food processing, the Memmert IN30plus incubator combines thermal performance, reliability and ergonomics. Its 32-litre usable volume makes it a compact unit, ideal for laboratories seeking optimised capacity without compromising the quality of the thermal environment.
The adjustable temperature range from +20 °C to +80 °C allows adaptation to multiple applications, with a setting accuracy of 0.1 °C. The IN30plus operates from 5°C above ambient temperature, ensuring excellent reproducibility of experimental conditions. Thanks to its two class A Pt100 sensors in a 4-wire circuit, the incubator ensures reliable temperature monitoring, even if one of the sensors fails, as they monitor each other.
The ControlCOCKPIT TwinDISPLAY interface is based on a multifunctional digital microprocessor-based PID controller with two high-definition colour TFT displays. It provides intuitive access to settings such as temperature, air flap position, programme duration and even summer/winter time. The system also includes the SetpointWAIT function, which ensures that the process time only starts once the target temperature has been reached, which is crucial for strict protocols.
Safety is a key feature of the IN30plus, with triple thermal protection: mechanical TB limiter, electronic TWW monitoring or adjustable TWB limiter, and the AutoSAFETY system, which monitors temperature deviations from the setpoint and switches off the heating if the setpoint is exceeded. A visual and audible alarm signals any anomalies. A fixed sterilisation programme (4 hours at 160°C) is integrated to disinfect the working chamber between test series.
Natural convection, enhanced by the supply of preheated fresh air via an electronically adjustable damper, ensures even temperature distribution. The stainless steel enclosure is reinforced with pressed ribs for robustness and ease of cleaning, while the heating is integrated on all four sides for uniform heat distribution.
