Memmert IN75 – Laboratory incubator for precise and reliable temperature control
The Memmert IN75 is a professional incubator designed to provide stable and uniform temperature control for a wide range of applications, including scientific research, medical, pharmaceutical and food analysis. Thanks to its careful design and the use of high-quality components, it guarantees long-lasting and reliable performance that meets the international standards in force in modern laboratories. Its adjustable temperature range from +20 °C to +80 °C, with an adjustment accuracy of 0.1 °C, allows optimal control of incubation conditions for even the most sensitive samples.
The 74-litre usable volume offers generous space for different types of samples while optimising the use of laboratory space. The interior, made entirely of electropolished stainless steel, is designed for easy cleaning, ensuring impeccable hygiene and minimising the risk of cross-contamination. Integrated heating elements on four sides ensure even heat distribution, preventing temperature gradients and ensuring that every point in the chamber has the same conditions.
The IN75 uses a natural convection system, which provides a stable environment without forced airflow, ideal for applications requiring a quiet, vibration-free environment. Electronically controlled preheated fresh air intake maintains thermal stability while ensuring optimal air renewal. Ventilation is managed by an adjustable damper and an exhaust duct with a restriction damper, giving the user precise control over internal parameters.
The incubator is controlled by the ControlCOCKPIT interface with a high-definition TFT colour display, offering simple and intuitive control of settings. Adjustable parameters include temperature (in °C or °F), air flap position, programme duration, time zone and summer/winter time adjustment. The SetpointWAIT function ensures that the process time only starts once the desired temperature has been reached, thus ensuring the reproducibility of experimental conditions. A digital timer allows precise setting from 1 minute to 99 days.
In terms of safety, the IN75 has built-in double protection: an electronic temperature monitoring device and a mechanical temperature limiter, which stops the heating at around 20°C above the setpoint. A self-diagnostic system is also included to analyse any malfunctions.
Connectivity is provided by an Ethernet port and the option of using AtmoCONTROL software to read, manage and organise the data recorded by the internal data logger. In the event of a power failure, the programmes in progress are saved, preventing any loss of data or samples.
The IN75 is equipped with two electropolished stainless steel grilles and a factory calibration certificate at +37°C. Its robust construction with textured stainless steel walls and double-locking insulated door ensures excellent thermal insulation and increased durability. It requires only a small installation space, with minimum distances to be observed to ensure proper ventilation.
