The heated work surface, combined with cool, molded armrests, offers a pleasant contact temperature while eliminating pressure points. A 5-liter paraffin reservoir and a cooling plate accommodating up to 72 molds ensure uninterrupted operation, ideal for high-volume laboratories.
The HistoStar™ adapts to all cassette formats, including larger sizes, thanks to its adjustable paraffin dispensing paddle. This flexibility simplifies operations regardless of the sample type.
Another standout feature is the integrated ParaTrimmer®, which removes excess paraffin directly at the station, eliminating the need for a separate trimming device. This saves both time and space, streamlining the workflow and reducing wax debris around microtomes.
