VWR INCU-Line IL 23 microbiological incubator: performance and compactness for research
The VWR INCU-Line IL 23 incubator is an ideal solution for microbiology, cell biology or haematology laboratories requiring stable and uniform temperature control. Thanks to its natural convection technology, it guarantees even heat distribution throughout the chamber, ensuring optimal conditions for the incubation of sensitive samples.
Equipped with digital PID control, the IL 23 allows precise temperature adjustment in increments of 0.1°C, with a range from ambient temperature +5°C to 70°C. This level of precision is essential for demanding protocols, particularly those involving bacterial cultures or enzyme tests. Temporal and spatial temperature stability is maintained at ±0.5°C at 37°C, ensuring reproducible results.
The front panel is equipped with a clear and intuitive LED display, accompanied by UP and DOWN keys to adjust the temperature. A recalibration function allows deviations between the displayed temperature and that measured by a certified reference thermometer to be corrected, further enhancing the reliability of the device.
The compact design of the IL 23 (340 × 360 × 400 mm) allows for easy integration into confined spaces, while offering an internal volume of 23 litres. The chamber is equipped with two perforated stainless steel shelves, optimising air circulation and sample layout. The door with a transparent Plexiglas® window allows direct viewing without opening, reducing heat loss and disruption to the incubation cycle. The external structure is made of mild steel with an epoxy coating, ensuring robustness and durability.
The VWR INCU-Line IL 23 combines precision, reliability and ergonomics, meeting the requirements of modern laboratories while remaining easy to use. It is a wise choice for professionals looking for a high-performance, safe and economical incubator.
