Memmert IF260plus: A Reliable Incubator for Demanding Scientific and Industrial Applications
The Memmert IF260plus incubator is designed to meet the specific thermal requirements of research laboratories, medical and pharmaceutical facilities, as well as the chemical and food analysis sectors. With its precise temperature regulation technology and robust construction, it provides an efficient solution for all operations requiring stable and controlled thermal conditions.
The device offers a temperature range from +20 °C to +80 °C, with stable control starting at just 10 °C above ambient temperature. It features two high-precision Pt100 sensors (DIN class A, 4-wire technology) that monitor each other for accurate and reliable temperature maintenance. Temperature control is managed by a PID microprocessor and operated through the intuitive TwinDISPLAY interface, which includes two high-resolution, full-color TFT screens for clear parameter monitoring.
The IF260plus includes a programmable timer (up to 99 days), an adjustable turbine-based ventilation system, and a HeatBALANCE function that allows users to fine-tune the heating power distribution between the upper and lower elements. Its stainless steel interior is heated on all four sides, ensuring uniform temperature distribution. The unit also includes an internal sterilization program (4 hours at 160 °C), allowing for easy chamber maintenance without affecting the stored contents.
In terms of safety, the incubator is equipped with multiple thermal protection systems: a mechanical temperature limiter, an electronic safety thermostat, and the AutoSAFETY system, which triggers an alarm in case of temperature deviation. In the event of a power failure, all program data is retained.
With a usable chamber volume of 256 liters and the capacity to hold up to nine shelves, the IF260plus supports a high load capacity (up to 300 kg total, 20 kg per shelf). Its textured stainless steel exterior, galvanized rear panel, and reinforced locking door ensure long-term durability and sample protection.
The device is compatible with AtmoCONTROL software via USB or Ethernet for complete remote programming and monitoring. It comes with two electropolished stainless steel racks and a factory calibration certificate at +37 °C.
