The InLab Routine Pro electrode (51343054) from Mettler Toledo is specially designed for demanding users in laboratory environments. This electrochemical sensor is an essential tool for accurate pH measurements in a wide variety of applications, from environmental analysis to industrial quality control. Thanks to its robust construction and proven technology, the InLab Routine Pro has established itself as a standard for reliability and ease of use in everyday applications.

The key to its performance lies in the HA (High Alkali) glass membrane technology. This type of glass is optimised to minimise alkaline errors, allowing reliable use across the entire pH range from 0 to 14, including in highly basic or acidic samples. The low resistance of the membrane (<600 MΩ) guarantees a fast and stable response even under the most demanding conditions.

The probe is equipped with an integrated 30 kΩ NTC temperature sensor, enabling automatic temperature compensation for each measurement. This feature is particularly useful as the pH value is directly influenced by the temperature of the medium being analysed. By integrating this measurement directly into the electrode, the InLab Routine Pro simplifies the analytical process and reduces the risk of errors.

Its ARGENTHAL™ reference system with silver ion trap offers exceptional stability. It prevents contamination of the reference system by silver ions in samples containing proteins, TRIS or sulphides, thus eliminating the risk of junction clogging. The system uses a 3 mol/L KCl electrolyte, a classic choice for routine applications, ensuring good conductivity and controlled diffusion.

The single ceramic junction ensures a reliable electrochemical connection between the reference solution and the sample. This type of junction is valued for its versatility, offering good performance across a wide range of samples. The glass construction of the electrode body is also an advantage for high-temperature applications (up to 100 °C) and aggressive chemical environments, ensuring high chemical resistance and inertness towards the substances being analysed.

From a practical point of view, the electrode is 120 mm long and has a diameter of 12 mm, making it compatible with most standard measuring instruments. It is equipped with a MultiPin™ connector, ensuring optimal compatibility with METTLER TOLEDO devices.
