Innova 40R – The precision shaker for controlled environments
The Eppendorf Innova 40R is a complete solution for laboratories that demand precision, reliability and adaptability in their cell culture or microbiological processes. This benchtop refrigerated incubator shaker stands out for its ability to maintain a stable temperature over a wide range from 15°C below ambient (with a minimum of 4°C) up to 80°C, making it ideal for work requiring both hot and cold incubation.
The heart of the system is atriple counterbalanced eccentric drive mechanism mounted on permanently lubricated ball bearings. This configuration ensures uniform and quiet agitation, with an adjustable speed of 25 to 500 rpm and an accuracy of ±1 rpm. The maximum load capacity is 15.5 kg, including the platform, bottles and their contents, allowing you to work with Erlenmeyer bottles up to 3 litres as well as various tubes and microplates.
The user can choose between several operating modes: continuous mode, timed mode, multiple speed and temperature programmes, or remote control via an RS-232 interface. The user interface consists of a 240 × 128 mm backlit LCD screen, complemented by a multifunction rotary control knob and a start/stop button. The device ensures optimum user comfort thanks to its visual and audible alarms, lid safety device and protection against unbalanced loads.
