Memmert IPP30plus refrigerated incubator – Thermal precision and energy efficiency for your laboratory applications
The Memmert IPP30plus refrigerated incubator is designed to provide a stable and precise thermal environment for laboratory applications requiring fine temperature control. Operating in a range from 0 to +70 °C, it can be used for both cooling and heating thanks to its integrated Peltier technology, which works on the heat pump principle. This innovative technology ensures efficient heat transfer, uniform temperature distribution throughout the chamber and optimised energy consumption, while minimising fluctuations.
With a net volume of 32 litres and a compact design, the IPP30plus is ideal for laboratories where space is limited but precision is essential. Its electropolished stainless steel interior guarantees optimum hygiene and ease of cleaning, while the double-leaf insulated door – consisting of an outer stainless steel door with two-point locking and an inner glass door – ensures both thermal insulation and the ability to view samples without disturbing the internal conditions.
The TwinDISPLAY control system, based on a multifunction digital PID microprocessor, is equipped with two high-definition TFT colour screens. It allows intuitive parameter setting, constant monitoring and the programming of complex sequences via the AtmoCONTROL software. This software facilitates the creation, management and transfer of programmes via a USB or Ethernet interface. In the event of a power failure, the current programme is saved, ensuring continuity of testing and reliability of results.
The Peltier fan-forced ventilation system promotes optimal air circulation and thermal uniformity in the chamber. This ensures that samples are exposed to identical conditions regardless of their position. The device also includes the SetpointWAIT function, which starts timing only when the setpoint temperature is reached, ensuring optimal accuracy in the duration of protocols.
Operational safety is enhanced by several protective features: over- and under-temperature control with visual and audible alarms, an adjustable temperature limiter, and an AutoSAFETY function that automatically adjusts the safety thresholds around the setpoint. If the temperature is exceeded, the heating or cooling function is automatically switched off to protect the samples and the device.
The IPP30plus comes with a calibration certificate for three temperatures (+10 °C, +25 °C, +40 °C) and can be equipped with up to three stainless steel shelves, each with a load capacity of up to 20 kg, for a total load capacity of 60 kg. Compact, quiet and robust, this incubator is suitable for many applications in microbiology, cell biology, analytical chemistry, stability testing and other scientific fields requiring precise and reproducible temperature control.
