JOYCEclinic Full Face NV full face mask: the optimal disposable solution for non-invasive ventilation in clinical settings
The JOYCEclinic Full Face NV mask from Löwenstein Medical is a high-performance breathing interface designed specifically for non-invasive ventilation (NIV) in hospital settings. Used as a link between the patient and the ventilation equipment, this full-face mask is intended for patients with respiratory failure who are able to breathe spontaneously. It is only indicated for use on patients weighing more than 30 kg and is suitable for use for up to 7 consecutive days without changing users.
The "NV" (non-ventilated) design of this mask means that it does not have an integrated exhalation port. It is therefore only compatible with ventilators that have an active exhalation system and safety devices in case of failure. This ensures maximum safety during clinical use, with effective CO2 evacuation and optimal therapeutic pressure adjustment. The stable structure of the mask allows it to be used at pressures ranging from 4 hPa to 50 hPa, while limiting accidental leaks thanks to its soft silicone cushion that moulds to the shape of the patient's face.
This mask stands out for its comfort and practicality. The harness is made of soft materials suitable for prolonged wear, such as cotton, elastane and polyamide. Its quick-release cord allows for immediate removal in an emergency, further enhancing patient safety. Adjustment is made easy by a system of clips and intuitive settings. The mask does not contain latex, PVC or DEHP, which reduces the risk of allergies and makes it compatible with the most stringent hospital standards.
The JOYCEclinic Full Face NV is available in several sizes (S, M, L), each adapted to the shape of the face, with calibrated dead space volumes for each version. The 22 mm female connector complies with EN ISO 5356-1, ensuring perfect compatibility with most ventilation circuits. Its high-temperature copolymer (HTC) body and clip-on parts ensure durability throughout the entire cycle of use.
Designed to meet the requirements of Directive 93/42/EEC (Class IIa), the mask is CE certified and complies with EN ISO 17510:2020. It offers an excellent compromise between comfort, tightness, therapeutic performance and ease of use, while ensuring optimal hygiene thanks to its disposable nature.
