The KANGAROO™ 924 is a rotary peristaltic enteral pump designed to provide safe and controlled feeding in clinical and home environments. It combines advanced technology with an intuitive user interface for ease of use and high performance. This model is particularly appreciated for its flow accuracy, portability and comprehensive set of safety features.
With a wide flow range from 1 to 300 ml/h, adjustable in 1 ml/h increments, and a dosing capacity between 1 and 2000 ml, the KANGAROO™ 924 adapts to all enteral nutrition protocols. Its accuracy complies with ANSI/AAMI ID26-1992 standards, ensuring a maximum error rate of 10% or 0.5 ml/h, whichever is higher.
The system has a rechargeable NiMH battery, providing up to 16 hours of autonomy at a standard flow rate of 125 ml/h. It can be fully charged in 12 hours by simply connecting the device to a wall socket.
In terms of safety, the pump has multiple audible and visual alarms that activate automatically in the event of a flow error, occlusion, low battery level or incorrect installation of the feed set. It also features an automatic system check every time it is switched on.
Its compact design (18.4 cm x 14 cm x 10.8 cm) and light weight (1.64 kg) make it easy to transport, enhancing its practicality for healthcare professionals and mobile patients alike. Its fire-retardant ABS/PC plastic shell ensures optimal resistance in medical environments.
The KANGAROO™ 924 is compatible with OPTIX sets, designed to prevent free flow caused by incorrect installation. It features a bright LED display, operating status indicators, an integrated infusion stand clip, and multi-language selection (13 languages), making it ideal for international use.
Finally, its settings are saved even when the pump is turned off (16 to 24 hours of memory depending on the power source), allowing rapid resumption of delivery without reconfiguration.
