KBF P 240: The Ultimate Humidity Test Chamber for Your Photostability Needs
The KBF P 240 from BINDER™ is a high-precision humidity test chamber specially designed for photostability testing in accordance with ICH guidelines. With a capacity of 247 litres, this chamber is ideal for laboratories and industries requiring strictly controlled environmental conditions.
The temperature range of the KBF P 240 extends from 0° to 70°C, with a specific range of 10° to 60°C when the light source is activated. The relative humidity can be adjusted between 10% and 80%, offering maximum flexibility for a variety of applications. The chamber is equipped with two positionable lighting cassettes with an ICH-compliant UV/Vis light source, ensuring clear and accurate test results.
The integrated APT.line™ preheating technology ensures uniform temperature distribution inside the chamber, while humidity control is managed by a capacitive humidity sensor and a vaporisation system. The stainless steel inner chamber is designed to resist corrosion and facilitate cleaning, ensuring optimum durability and hygiene.
The controller with time segment programming allows precise test cycles to be defined, while the tempered glass inner door ensures a perfect seal. Two stainless steel shelves are included to organise samples, and an access port with silicone plug allows easy intervention without disturbing the internal environment.
For added safety, the KBF P 240 is equipped with an independent class 3.1 temperature safety device in accordance with DIN 12880, with visual and audible alarms in case of temperature limits being exceeded. The chamber also features an Ethernet interface for easy connectivity to computer systems and a door heater to prevent condensation.
With four stable castors, two of which have brakes, the KBF P 240 is easy to move and position in the laboratory. Its compact design and dimensions (925 mm wide, 1460 mm high) make it a practical choice for confined spaces.
The BINDER™ KBF P 240 is a comprehensive and reliable solution for photostability testing, offering precision, safety, and compliance with the most stringent standards.
