The Steelco LAB 500 DRS is a benchtop laboratory glassware washer, specially designed for laboratories where space is limited but cleaning requirements are high. This model is equipped with a forced hot air drying system, ensuring fast and efficient drying of glassware. The LAB 500 DRS is capable of washing and drying on two independent levels, making it extremely versatile for various types of laboratory glassware.
The ergonomic design of the LAB 500 DRS includes a folding door that serves as a loading platform, making it easy to load and unload glassware. Telescopic rails on each level allow for easy and safe access, reducing the risk of breakage or injury. The washing chamber and spray arms are made of AISI 316L stainless steel, a material known for its corrosion resistance and durability, while the exterior is made of AISI 304 stainless steel, providing a robust and aesthetic finish.
The LAB 500 DRS's three-stage filtration system protects the recirculation and drain pumps from debris, extending the life of the equipment. The integrated vapour condenser prevents vapours from entering the washing area at a programmable temperature, ensuring a safe and comfortable working environment. In addition, the automatic chemical dosing system via peristaltic pumps allows for precise addition of liquid chemicals, optimising washing efficiency.
The LAB 500 DRS is equipped with an electronic thermostat and 5.1 kW electric heating elements, allowing heating up to 93 degrees Celsius (200 degrees Fahrenheit). The microprocessor control system allows up to 40 programmes to be stored, including 20 standard laboratory programmes and 20 user-definable programmes, offering maximum flexibility to meet a variety of specific washing requirements.
