The Multifuge X1 enables fast and precise sample processing, thanks to its compatibility with corrosion-resistant Fiberlite® carbon fiber rotors, capable of reaching relative centrifugal forces of up to 25,830 x g. These rotors ensure rapid sample throughput while reducing cycle times with optimized acceleration and braking profiles. The Auto-Lock® system allows tool-free rotor exchange in seconds, enhancing versatility, ease of cleaning, and simplified maintenance.
User safety is at the core of the Multifuge X1’s design. ClickSeal® biocontainment lids with one-handed closure significantly reduce the risk of contamination, even when handling sensitive samples. SMARTSpin® technology automatically adjusts speed and detects imbalance, ensuring rotor stability at maximum speed while protecting tubes and contents.
The user interface includes a backlit, multilingual display that remains accessible even with gloves, allowing easy configuration of key parameters such as time, speed, and temperature. Up to 99 programs can be stored, with direct access to five of them. In the refrigerated version, the system offers temperature control between -10 °C and +40 °C, along with a fast pre-cooling function—ideal for temperature-sensitive or consecutive protocols.
