The BBS-V1300 horizontal laminar flow hood by BioBase is a protective laboratory device designed for environments requiring a sterile workspace for handling sensitive samples. With its advanced design and high-quality materials, this hood ensures optimal protection against airborne particles and contaminants.
With external dimensions of 1300 x 750 x 2040 mm and a working space of 1200 x 645 x 610 mm, it provides a spacious work area while fitting easily into various laboratory settings. Its 304 stainless steel work surface ensures a resistant and easy-to-clean surface, essential for maintaining hygiene and durability.
The BBS-V1300 filtration system combines washable polyester fiber pre-filters with a high-efficiency HEPA filter, capable of eliminating 99.995% of 0.3 μm particles. This technology ensures a purified and uniform airflow, with an average speed of 0.3 to 0.5 m/s, maintaining a contamination-free environment for the most sensitive operations.
Ergonomics and user comfort are key features, with a motorized front window that allows a maximum opening of 430 mm, providing easy and safe access to the work area. The integrated LCD screen facilitates monitoring of essential parameters such as airflow speed and filter status, ensuring intuitive and efficient management of the device.
The hood is equipped with two lamps: a 12W LED lamp for workspace illumination and a 30W UV lamp emitting at 253.7 nm for effective sterilization. Additionally, it features two waterproof sockets supporting a total load of 500W, enabling other laboratory equipment to be powered directly from the hood.
