The Mediworks S260 slit lamp is a medical device designed to streamline ophthalmic examinations. Featuring LED illumination similar to a halogen lamp, it offers exceptional visual quality. Its HD optical system allows for precise details for the diagnosis of eye conditions. Additionally, it has a built-in yellow filter to enhance corneal visualization.

Description

The S260 slit lamp - The HD Optical System

Its HD optical system ensures exceptional optical resolution reaching up to 200 lp/mm (2700-N lp/mm), allowing for detailed visualization of eye conditions, thus facilitating diagnosis.

One remarkable feature of this slit lamp is its high-quality LED illumination. Unlike other light sources, Mediworks' LED lamp offers light similar to that of a halogen lamp, aligning with physicians' working habits. Additionally, this LED lamp has a low color temperature and high luminance, enhancing retinal visualization without causing glare, while making corneal nerves more visible. Moreover, it is energy-efficient and has a prolonged lifespan, making it an economical and environmentally friendly choice.

For even more precise visualization, the slit lamp is equipped with a built-in yellow filter. This filter, combined with the cobalt blue filter, enhances the contrast of the sodium fluorescein staining image, thus increasing the positivity of early corneal epithelial staining.

The installation of this slit lamp is straightforward thanks to its compact control panel that integrates the power supply. This feature greatly simplifies installation, especially when used with an ophthalmic unit.

Lastly, the LED lamp's luminance reaches ≥150klx, ensuring excellent visibility during ophthalmic examinations. Additionally, the rotating apertures offered allow physicians to switch between different magnifications (6X, 10X, 16X, 25X, 40X), further enhancing examination precision.

This device offers an optical system specially designed to project clear and uniform slits and apertures, enabling physicians to obtain a more detailed observation of eye conditions. This facilitates diagnosis and allows physicians to dedicate more time and energy to patient treatment.
