This device is also equipped with advanced features such as automatic detection of progressive lenses and measurement of contact lenses, making it a versatile tool for optical professionals.

Description

The SLM-4000 - the process of measuring optical lenses with exceptional accuracy.

The Shin-Nippon SLM-4000 lensmeter can measure a variety of lenses, including single vision, multifocal, progressive, frame, and contact lenses. It can even automatically detect progressive lenses and provides a graphical display on the LCD screen to simplify measuring points for distance and near vision.

The device is also equipped with a convenient contact lens holder, allowing for the measurement of rigid and soft lenses without the need for manual handling. Additionally, a cartridge-style marking pen ensures uniform marking and easy handling.

This device features a 5.7-inch color LCD screen that ensures optimal readability of measurement details and icons for easy selection of desired measurement options. No more dealing with a cumbersome lever, as the SLM-4000 comes with a convenient lens plate that extends with a simple press of the "PUSH" mark. This plate always keeps the lens back in contact, simplifying the process.

The SLM-4000 lensmeter supports the measurement of high refractive index lenses by allowing the selection of the ABBE refractive index. Additionally, it has an RS-232C setup function, enabling measurement data to be sent to an external computer via an ASCII interface.
