LM-1800PD Lensometer: Precision Measurements, Advanced Features, and Seamless Connectivity for Optimal Refraction Practices
The automatic LM-1800PD lensometer employs Hartmann-Shack technology, ensuring swift and precise measurements. With its 108-point sensor, it calculates the power of glasses by measuring an extended zone rather than a single point, providing results up to a hundredth of a dioptre. This feature includes a directional guide for user convenience during the positioning of glasses or spectacles. The 540 nm wavelength of the green LED eliminates the need for resetting the Abbe number, regardless of the glass's refractive index. Additionally, a dedicated support allows for reading the power of rigid contact lenses.
The LM-1800PD facilitates the measurement of progression length and visualization of power changes in progressive lenses. Moreover, it automatically displays half-pupil distances when lenses are assembled on the frame. The large 5.7-inch screen presents a user-friendly interface. The LM-1800PD incorporates an automatic measurement system for the glass-mounting gap in spectacles and offers an optional function to measure the glass refractive index (Go-Meisan).
Various ports, including USB, RS232C, and RF45 (LAN card optional), enable easy connections and communication with all NIDEK refraction devices. The lensometer is equipped with multiple features, such as UV transmission at 365 nm (UV A) and green light transmission at 540 nm, along with a thermal printer. It is well-suited for both refraction practices and workshop applications.
