The LM-7P compact lensometer is a user-friendly device designed to automatically identify the type of lens and measure lens powers, whether mounted or not. It comes equipped with a thermal printer.

Description

LM-7P lensometer: Advanced Measurement Precision with Shack-Hartmann Technology and Simplified Connectivity

The compact LM-7 lensometer incorporates Shack-Hartmann technology, ensuring more precise measurements. Its 108-point sensor allows for determining lens power by measuring an extended area rather than a single point, guaranteeing accuracy up to the hundredth diopter. This provides the user with a directional guide to simplify the positioning of lenses or eyeglasses.

The 540 nm wavelength of its green LED, identical to that measured by the sensor, eliminates the need to adjust the Abbe number setting, regardless of the refractive index of the lens. Numerous connectors, including USB, RS232C, and RJ45 (optional LAN card), facilitate communication with all NIDEK refraction devices.

Equipped with various functions, such as manual measurement of the mounting gap and UV transmission at 365 nm (UV A), the LM-7P lensometer also features a thermal printer. It is suitable for both refractive practice and workshop use. The LM-7P model has fewer components than previous lensometers, allowing for a 12% energy savings.
