7L4A Linear Probe for Mindray Ultrasound Machines: Precision in Surface Examinations
The Mindray 7L4A is a high-frequency linear ultrasound probe specially developed for surface examinations of the human body. Used mainly for musculoskeletal, superficial vascular and thyroid imaging, as well as for monitoring certain interventional procedures, it stands out for its ability to produce clear, well-defined images.
With a centre frequency of 7.5 MHz, the 7L4A probe offers an optimal compromise between resolution and penetration depth. It allows healthcare professionals to visualise anatomical structures located at shallow depths with great precision, making diagnoses more reliable and immediate. It is compatible with Mindray ultrasound scanners that support standard connections for this model and can be used effectively with a biopsy guide, such as the NGB-007 holder, for procedures requiring increased precision in needle positioning.
Its 1950 mm cable allows for great manoeuvrability, facilitating examinations without movement constraints, while ensuring good signal transmission between the probe and the ultrasound system. Its connector, equipped with a locking handle, ensures stable and secure attachment to the ultrasound device.
The 7L4A probe is IPX7 rated for protection against water ingress, which means that its active part (excluding the connector) can be immersed for high-level disinfection. However, it is essential that the connector itself is never immersed.
Before each use, the probe must be inspected, cleaned and disinfected according to the recommended protocols. Sterile gloves and compatible ultrasound gel must be used for all clinical applications. Please note that precautions must be taken to avoid any source of excessive heat or sudden temperature changes during use or storage.
The 7L4A is designed to operate in controlled environmental conditions, with an operating temperature between 0°C and 40°C, relative humidity between 30% and 90%, and atmospheric pressure between 700 and 1060 hPa. When stored correctly, it guarantees long life and consistent performance over time.
