W&H Lisa 517: intelligent and customised sterilisation for professionals
The Lisa 517 embodies a new generation of smart sterilizers designed to meet the most stringent requirements of healthcare professionals. With a fully automated system, built-in traceability management and adaptive sterilization cycles, this W&H model redefines the standards of performance, safety and simplicity.
As soon as the instruments are placed in its 17-litre chamber, the Lisa 517 analyses the nature and mass of the load. Thanks to its made-to-measure Type B cycles , it automatically adjusts the sterilisation and drying time. This flexibility allows for efficient processing even with partial loads, without having to wait to group several instruments together. The result is time savings of up to 25 minutes for small loads, while extending the service life of the instruments thanks to reduced exposure to heat.
The patented ECO-Dry system ensures fast and optimised drying, while an air detection device guarantees that instruments are fully exposed to saturated steam, even in hollow loads. This enables automatic cycle validation and enhanced safety against cross-contamination risks.
Traceability is another pillar of the Lisa 517's efficiency. Its intuitive touchscreen allows sterilisation cycles to be programmed, identified, validated, saved and printed without external software. When connected to the LisaSafe printer, it generates barcode labels that are automatically integrated into patient files, ensuring full compliance with hygiene protocols and legal requirements.
The user can only release the sterile load if the cycle has been completed successfully, after identifying themselves with a password directly on the screen. This security measure eliminates any ambiguity in the tracking of instruments and their traceability in the care chain.
Compact and quiet, with a noise level of only 62 dB, the Lisa 517 fits easily into any medical environment. Compliant with European Directives 93/42/EEC (medical devices) and 97/23/EEC (pressure equipment), as well as ISO and EN standards applicable to steam sterilisers, it combines technical reliability with compliance with international standards.
The Lisa 517 is a high-performance tool that combines sterilisation efficiency, patient protection and peace of mind for the practitioner. Thanks to its advanced automation, ergonomic design and on-board technology, it is the obvious choice for practices that demand quality and rigour.
