LOGIQ V2 ultrasound system: compact and versatile performance
The LOGIQ V2 is an ultrasound system developed by GE Healthcare to meet a variety of clinical needs in a compact format. Designed for applications such as abdomen, obstetrics, gynaecology, cardiology, paediatrics, neurology, musculoskeletal and urology, it incorporates technologies that improve image quality and optimise workflows.
With its small dimensions (396 mm long, 368 mm wide, 83 mm high) and a weight of only 6 kg with battery, the LOGIQ V2 is easily transportable and suitable for mobile or space-constrained medical environments. It features a high-resolution 15-inch LCD screen (1024 x 768 pixels), providing clear and accurate visualisation of ultrasound images. The user interface includes an ergonomic, standard-size keyboard and eight TGC cursors for optimal depth gain control.
Imaging technologies for enhanced diagnostic accuracy
The LOGIQ V2 integrates several imaging modes, including B-Mode, M-Mode, pulsed Doppler (PW), continuous wave Doppler (CW), colour Doppler (CFM), Power Doppler (PDI), Coded Harmonic Imaging (CHI), and options such as LOGIQ View (panoramic imaging), Easy 3D (free 3D reconstruction), Anatomical M-Mode, and Tissue Velocity Imaging (TVI). These technologies enable detailed visualisation of anatomical structures and accurate functional analysis.
Automatic optimisation (AO), CrossXBeam (spatial compound imaging) and SRI-HD (high-definition speckle noise reduction) functions improve image clarity and facilitate clinical interpretation. The system also supports automatic real-time calculations for Doppler examinations, as well as specialised tools for obstetric, gynaecological, vascular, urological and cardiac measurements.
Connectivity, storage and accessories for seamless integration
The LOGIQ V2 offers extensive connectivity with support for the DICOM 3.0 standard (optional), enabling integration into hospital networks for data archiving, retrieval and transmission. It has a built-in 120 GB SSD, 55 GB of internal storage space for images, and supports external devices such as USB sticks, external hard drives, SD cards, CD-RWs and DVDs.
The system is compatible with multiple medical and office printers and can be mounted on an ergonomic LOGIQ V1/V2 cart with storage and transport options. Accessories such as reusable or disposable biopsy guides, replacement batteries and probe port adapters are also available to customise use according to clinical needs.
