The LS Reloaded™ represents the technological pinnacle of fluorescence laser scanners developed by Tecan. Designed for research laboratories and demanding biomedical environments, it is based on the proven architecture of the LS 200/300/400 systems, while incorporating major improvements. Its sensitivity has been increased threefold, enabling weak signals to be detected with remarkable accuracy, even on complex substrates.
Total flexibility for custom formats and microplates
With its adjustable laser beam angle, the LS Reloaded™ supports evanescent resonance scanning, ideal for glass surfaces. It offers up to four lasers and allows simultaneous scanning in two colours, optimising the speed and richness of the data collected. The system offers a wide range of gain settings, allowing detection to be dynamically adapted to signal intensity within a single sample batch.
Integration with the Tecan Connect autoloader ensures complete automation, with a processing capacity of up to 200 slides or 50 microplates without human intervention. The optional LaserCheck kit enables automatic calibration independent of fluorescence standards, ensuring consistent measurement quality.
Intelligent focusing for all substrates
The LS Reloaded™'s automatic focusing works with all types of substrates, regardless of transparency, flatness or thickness, and adapts to non-conventional geometries. The system enables confocal and non-confocal detection, with adjustable confocality depending on the flatness or complexity of the active surface. These features make the LS Reloaded™ an essential tool for applications in blood typing, infectious disease diagnostics and genomic research.
