The LV 9/11 from Nabertherm is a drop-door furnace specially designed for the calcination of organic materials, the determination of loss on ignition (LOI) and other demanding thermal processes. It is intended for research laboratories, university institutes, chemical or pharmaceutical industries requiring consistent performance and high reliability.
With a usable volume of 9 litres, the LV 9/11 offers sufficient space for samples while remaining compact enough for bench-top installation. Its maximum operating temperature is 1100 °C, allowing a wide range of materials to be processed. It is equipped with ceramic heating plates with integrated heating elements, protected against splashes and exhaust gases, ensuring rapid and uniform temperature rise.
One of the strengths of the LV model is its integrated air renewal system, which ensures excellent thermal homogeneity. Fresh air is preheated before entering the chamber, and more than six renewals per minute are carried out, significantly improving temperature accuracy throughout the heating volume.
The double-walled stainless steel chassis with a textured structure reduces the external temperature of the oven while enhancing its stability. The chamber is insulated with fibre-free materials classified according to CLP regulations, ensuring a safer working environment that complies with health standards.
In terms of safety, the LV 9/11 can be equipped with an optional over-temperature limiter with manual reset, an Ethernet interface for cycle monitoring via VCD software, or a protective gas connection for non-flammable atmospheres. Accessories such as loading racks and drip pans can also be integrated.
The LV 9/11 is easy to use thanks to its intuitive controller, and critical components such as the thermocouple are designed for a long service life. It represents an efficient, safe and sustainable solution for the thermal needs of modern laboratories.
