Designed for the most demanding industrial applications, the Mix 1 XL from 2mag is a device specifically intended for operations requiring efficient mixing in very large volumes of up to 1000 litres, while guaranteeing optimum safety, virtually no maintenance and exceptional durability.
The technology used is based on a 2mag Magnetic-Drive system with no moving mechanical parts, thus avoiding conventional wear due to friction. This drive principle generates a rotating magnetic field via static coils through which an alternating current flows, ensuring a smooth and perfectly controlled mixing movement. The result is smooth operation, even at very low speeds, guaranteeing homogeneous mixing and respect for the solutions being processed.
The Mix 1 XL is also designed for exceptional mechanical, chemical and thermal resistance. Its all-stainless steel housing is hermetically sealed to IP68 standards, making it waterproof, dustproof and germ-proof. It can be used in laboratory or production environments such as water or oil baths, CO₂ incubators or ovens, thanks to its ability to withstand temperatures of up to +200°C in air or +95°C when immersed.
This model is equipped to work with external control units such as MIXcontrol 20 or MIXcontrol 40, offering increased flexibility of use and precise control of rotation speed and stirring power. Compatibility with modern interfaces such as RS232, USB and Ethernet also allows easy integration into automated process control systems.
