The GE Diamond mammography system is a device designed to detect breast abnormalities.
Crafted with a user-centric approach for both clinicians and patients, the Diamond is an intuitive and compact device that incorporates all essential components, including the X-ray generator. Its unique design allows for better visualization and positioning of the breast, while enhancing patient comfort.

One of Diamond's features is its all-in-one design that incorporates all major components, including the X-ray generator. This allows for minimal footprint and more convenient use.
The Diamond provides a much better view and positioning of the breast. The unique "ParkBack" X-ray tube moves completely to allow for a more comfortable positioning posture and to avoid discomfort. Better positioning leads to better images. Additionally, ParkBack offers a completely open workspace for biopsy procedures.
The ECS (Easy Compression System) compression system is an innovation that leverages the natural mobility of the breast. It acts as an aid in all projections to image more posterior breast tissue with better tissue separation, thus improving the visualization of anatomical structures. ECS also facilitates positioning in challenging cases such as wheelchair patients, kyphotic patients, or patients with small breasts, increasing patient comfort and breast tissue imaging.
The Diamond brings new intelligence to breast imaging. The AutoPoint system digitally analyzes breast composition and structure. PaddleLogic detects which paddle the operator has selected; AutoPoint analyzes only the compressed area of the breast, and the Diamond automatically aligns to the correct field size for each paddle.
Image quality is paramount. The new Diamond X-ray tube ensures sharper images in mammography. The precise construction of the precision-machined SP cathode provides a Gaussian intensity distribution in the focal spot, making the smallest details visible in the images, especially with the small focus.
