High-precision cooling in a compact format – Lauda MC 350
The Lauda MC 350 is part of the Microcool range, a series of high-performance circulation coolers developed to maintain stable temperatures in closed circuits. With a cooling capacity of 350 W at 20 °C, this compact model is ideal for laboratories, the electronics industry, thermal analysis and spectroscopy.
Its operating temperature range of -10 to +40 °C allows it to be used in a wide range of applications. Thanks to its magnetically coupled pump system, the coolant is circulated without the risk of leakage at a maximum flow rate of 16 L/min and a maximum pressure of 0.35 bar.
The MC 350 also stands out for its robustness: its dimensions of 240 x 400 x 500 mm and weight of 36 kg ensure perfect stability, even on a workbench. Its tabletop design is suitable for indoor use, with operating conditions up to an altitude of 2,000 m.
The RS232 interface allows easy integration into external control systems. A 12 N alarm output (30 V DC / 0.2 A) is also available to warn the user in the event of a system failure (low level, overheating, pump error, etc.). Three LED indicators (blue for cooling activity, yellow for Kryo 30 use, red in case of error) provide immediate visual feedback.
Control is via a 7-segment LED display with a resolution of 0.1 °C. Navigation is simple thanks to the arrow keys and the ENTER key.
The R134a refrigerant used in the cooling system guarantees environmentally friendly operation with a GWP of 1430. The cooler is compatible with LAUDA Aqua 90 (water) and Kryo 30 (water/glycol mixture) cooling fluids, which can be selected according to the operating temperature.
Designed to last, the MC 350 is protected by an IP32 rating, operates in relative humidity up to 80% at 31°C, and withstands storage temperatures between 5°C and 40°C. The air condenser can be easily cleaned, ensuring stable performance over the long term.
