Lauda MC 600 – Precision cooler for demanding environments
The Lauda MC 600 is an air-cooled circulation chiller specially designed for industrial applications requiring rigorous thermal control. Part of the Microcool range, this model features a cooling capacity of 600 W, temperature stability of ±0.5 K, and an ergonomic design that facilitates integration into various professional environments.
The MC 600 operates with non-flammable heat transfer fluids in a closed circuit and covers a working temperature range of -10 °C to +40 °C, depending on the fluid used. Compatible with recommended LAUDA fluids, such as Kryo 30 or Aqua 90, it ensures stable circulation thanks to its magnetically coupled pressure pump. The user can adjust the pressure via a bypass adjustment knob located at the rear and monitor the pressure on a front pressure gauge.
The device is equipped with an intuitive control panel with a 7-segment LED display and navigation buttons. Three indicator lights (active cooling, error alert, Kryo 30 in use) allow the operating status to be read immediately. The FILL mode facilitates initial filling by preventing the pump from starting until the minimum liquid level is reached. The liquid level is visible on the front panel thanks to a dual threshold indicator (min./max.).
The MC 600 has an RS232 interface for remote control via PC or compatible software, allowing configuration of target temperatures, safety limits, auto-start or auto-stop timers, etc. An alarm output also allows integration into an external monitoring system.
Designed for floor use, the MC 600 is equipped with four castors with brakes for mobility and stability. Its housing is made of corrosion-resistant materials, and its internal components are made of stainless steel and engineering plastics to ensure a long service life.
Maintenance includes regular cleaning of the air condenser and water filter (if used) and checking the heat transfer fluid. The MC 600 also features diagnostic functions and error messages visible on the display, facilitating rapid identification of faults.
