MDF-MU539HL-PE: High-performance biomedical freezer for sensitive applications
The PHCbi MDF-MU539HL-PE is a biomedical freezer designed to meet the most stringent requirements for the storage of sensitive samples. With a generous capacity of 504 litres and an adjustable temperature range of -18°C to -35°C, it ensures optimal thermal stability thanks to its inversion compressor. Unlike traditional fixed-speed compressors, the inverter compressor adjusts its speed as needed, ensuring temperature uniformity and reducing energy consumption.
This direct cooling system, combined with natural hydrocarbon (HC) refrigerants, complies with environmental standards while offering efficient cooling performance. The 70 mm thick polyurethane foam (PUF) insulation enhances thermal retention, even when the doors are opened frequently.
Enhanced security for sample storage
Sample safety is at the heart of the MDF-MU539HL-PE's design. It is equipped with a comprehensive alarm system: visual, audible and remote alarms for abnormal temperatures (high and low), as well as in the event of a power failure. The microprocessor control panel, equipped with non-volatile memory, allows the initial settings to be restored after a power failure. In the event of a fault, an error code is displayed to facilitate diagnosis.
The model has two separate external doors, reducing cold air loss when accessing samples. A standard lock is integrated, with an optional padlock for added security. Manual defrosting is facilitated by an integrated drain hose, making maintenance quicker and easier.
Flexibility and ergonomics for professional use
The MDF-MU539HL-PE is designed to suit professional environments. It includes six height-adjustable shelves, each supporting up to 30 kg, allowing for customised storage organisation. A 30 mm diameter rear access port facilitates the integration of monitoring equipment or external sensors.
Its robust painted steel design, both inside and out, ensures long-term durability. Castors with levelling feet make it easy to install and move. The noise level of only 42 dB(A) guarantees quiet operation, ideal for laboratories or hospitals.
