The MediCam Plus LT is a digital medical camera specifically designed for endoscopic examinations, whether in consultation rooms, treatment rooms or operating theatres. Connected directly to a Windows computer via a USB 2.0 connection, it integrates easily into any medical environment. Its 1/3" E2V® CMOS sensor offers a resolution of 960 x 720 pixels, ensuring faithful and detailed image reproduction, essential for accurate visualisation of anatomical structures. Its compact design (37 x 67 x 40 mm) and low weight (115 g including cable) ensure easy handling and minimal space requirements on the workstation.
Imaging Performance and Key Features
The MediCam Plus LT features automatic exposure, gain and white balance control, with the option of manually adjusting the red, green and blue components to suit the different light sources used during examinations. Its frame rate of up to 25 fps ensures optimal fluidity, which is essential during surgical procedures or endoscopic examinations. When used with Maestro software, it enables real-time video and audio acquisition with MPEG-2 encoding, still image capture, the addition of text annotations to images and the saving of customised configurations. These features facilitate the documentation of clinical cases and the archiving of examinations.
Compatibility, Security and Software Integration
Designed to work exclusively with Maestro software, compatible with Noah 4, the MediCam Plus LT offers an optimised experience for medical imaging. Without a Maestro video licence, only still images can be captured. Triggering via a USB foot switch keeps your hands free during the examination, a particularly valuable feature in a surgical setting. Compliant with medical standards EN 60601-1 and EN 60601-1-2, and classified as a Class I medical device according to Directive 93/42/EEC, it meets the safety, reliability and performance criteria required in the medical sector.
