MEDUMAT Standard²: emergency and transport ventilation that meets the demands of the field
In medical emergencies, every second counts. Healthcare professionals must be able to rely on a reliable, intuitive and comprehensive device to ventilate patients in the most critical conditions. The MEDUMAT Standard² from Weinmann Emergency meets these requirements with a modern, compact and highly safe solution, specially designed for pre-hospital, transport or resuscitation situations.
Weighing just 2.5 kg, this ventilator combines lightness and robustness. It is perfectly suited for ground and air rescue services. Its 5-inch colour display provides a clear overview of ventilation parameters and dynamic curves, ensuring optimal ventilation monitoring even in the most turbulent environments. Thanks to a simplified user interface and flat menus, settings can be made quickly, saving valuable time in emergency situations.
The MEDUMAT Standard² offers a wide range of ventilation modes suitable for all phases of care. In addition to pressure- or volume-controlled ventilation (IPPV, SIMV, PCV, BiLevel + ASB), it includes specific functions for cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), rapid sequence induction (RSI) and non-invasive ventilation (CPAP with optional ASB pressure support). Ventilation synchronisation with chest compressions using the innovative CCSV mode improves gas exchange and perfusion, thereby increasing the patient's chances of survival.
In terms of safety, every detail has been carefully considered. The user can initiate ventilation by simply entering the patient's size, ensuring start-up in accordance with international recommendations. Monitoring is enhanced by the sidestream capnography option, which allows precise control of exhaled CO₂ and therefore the positioning of the intubation tube. Visual and audible alarms are effective and customisable, avoiding false alarms during resuscitation.
Modularity is one of the major advantages of the MEDUMAT Standard². Numerous software options allow the device to be configured to specific requirements: curve display, flow measurement, Bluetooth® data transmission for integrated digital documentation. Its 10-hour battery life and removable battery ensure great freedom of action in the field. Data can be saved to an SD card and easily transferred, particularly for maintenance or software updates.
Hygiene has not been overlooked: an antibacterial/antiviral filter protects the device, patients and users. Single-use or reusable patient circuits are available, with or without flow or CO₂ sensors, ensuring perfect adaptation to each protocol.
The MEDUMAT Standard² is not just a ventilator, it is a true partner in the field, designed to provide a fast, effective and personalised response to the most critical situations. Its "made in Germany" design reflects proven expertise in the service of modern emergency medicine.
