Micro 100 Reciprocating Saw – Surgical Precision and Confidence with Every Cut
The Hall® Micro 100 Reciprocating Saw is a pneumatic surgical device designed to deliver exceptional cutting performance in the operating theatre. Part of the Micro 100 family of instruments, it features rapid reciprocating technology that ensures a clean, controlled incision with every stroke. With an operating speed of up to 14,000 cycles per minute (28,000 strokes per minute), the saw offers impressive performance while minimising the risk of overheating or instability.
Designed specifically for demanding surgical procedures, the Micro 100 Alternating Saw has a secure blade locking mechanism. Before inserting the blade, the device must be placed in the "SAFE" position to prevent accidental start-up. Insertion is achieved by rotating the locking system, followed by a brief activation to ensure optimal blade fixation. This procedure guarantees enhanced safety for medical staff and patients.
Its ergonomic design incorporates a finger control, a safety button, a quick-release coupling and a 360° rotating tip, offering superior manoeuvrability in complex operating environments. For surgeons requiring better visibility or access, a smooth collar version (ref. 5053-025) is available as an option.
Operating with dry medical nitrogen (99.97% pure) at a recommended working pressure of 100 psi (7 kg/cm²), the saw delivers consistent power without compromising safety. It consumes up to 8 cubic feet (226 litres) of nitrogen per minute, ensuring adequate runtime for extended procedures. This pneumatic system eliminates the need for lubrication, simplifying maintenance of the device.
Compatible with a range of accessories common to the Micro 100 series, the saw can be integrated into various surgical environments via universal regulators and hoses, offering installation flexibility. This device represents Hall®'s commitment to innovation, safety and surgical efficiency.
