The Bio II Advance Plus 6 is a Class II microbiological safety cabinet, certified according to EN 12469 by TUV Nord. It is designed to handle level 1, 2 and 3 pathogens, ensuring maximum protection for the operator, the product and the environment. Thanks to its constant laminar flow, monitored by a speed sensor and automatically compensated in the event of filter clogging, it provides an effective barrier against contamination. Independent visual and audible alarms immediately warn of any deviation from critical parameters.
The 10° sloped front window allows for an ergonomic working posture, while the transparent side windows optimise natural light in the work area. The base of the enclosure, designed as a single piece of smooth material, facilitates cleaning and reduces the risk of contamination. The hermetic seal around the front window prevents the ingress of external particles during maintenance operations.
Ergonomic design and ease of use
The Bio II Advance Plus 6 is designed for user comfort. Its integrated, detachable double armrest offers a rounded surface for comfort and V-shaped air grooves to prevent accidental obstruction of the openings. The colour control panel, slightly inclined towards the operator, displays the laminar flow speed and filter contamination level in real time. It uses an intuitive colour code: green for normal conditions, red for out of specification, and yellow for decontamination.
The Ecomode function reduces the flow speed with a single click, thereby reducing energy consumption, noise and heat. A built-in timer allows you to program the activation of the fans and UV lamp. The system is multilingual (French, English, Spanish, German) and offers two password levels for secure access.
Simplified maintenance and total accessibility
The Bio II Advance Plus 6 is designed to minimise work interruptions due to maintenance. All components are accessible from the front, and the electronic components can be reached without entering the contaminated area. The patented SYSTEM 4F allows for quick and safe filter replacement in less than 5 minutes with standard tools.
The work surface is divided into sections for easy cleaning and autoclave sterilisation. The manually operated sliding glass door with gas struts facilitates the introduction of large objects and cleaning. This model is ideal for demanding laboratories, combining safety, ergonomics and efficiency.
