MicroMagmix MCG05E: a reliable and high-performance digital magnetic stirrer
The MicroMagmix MCG05E from OVAN is a heating magnetic stirrer that combines precision, reliability and ease of use. Designed to meet the requirements of modern laboratories, this device has an ergonomic and robust design that makes it easy to integrate into any scientific environment. Its 154 mm diameter polished aluminium plate ensures excellent heat transfer, while allowing safe and hygienic use.
Thanks to its integrated microprocessor, the MicroMagmix MCG05E controls speed and temperature with great precision. It is equipped with an external Pt100 sensor that allows optimal temperature control directly in the preparation medium. The ARA V2 thermal control algorithm with fuzzy logic guarantees remarkable thermal stability without exceeding the set temperature, even for sensitive samples. This control ensures reproducible results for a wide range of applications, whether dissolving, mixing or maintaining temperature.
The device offers a speed range from 100 to 1250 rpm, allowing it to be adapted to volumes of up to 5 litres and viscosities of up to 10 cSt. The gradual start of the stirring action preserves the magnetic coupling and limits splashing or disturbances in the sample, regardless of the working conditions. The system guarantees a constant speed, even in the event of variations in the viscosity of the medium.
Its intuitive user interface consists of membrane keys and a backlit LCD screen that simultaneously displays the selected temperature and speed as well as the actual measured values. The device also features a hot surface alert, which warns the user of the risk of burns when the plate is still hot. In the event of a power failure, the MicroMagmix MCG05E restarts automatically with the previous settings and reports the incident on the display.
The removable heating plate allows for quick replacement in case of wear, extending the life of the device. Its IP52 protection rating ensures resistance to splashes and dust, for safe use in a variety of environments. Compact and lightweight at only 4 kg, it is easily transportable and can be combined with additional accessories to extend its functionality.
