MicroMix: Reliable and high-performance digital magnetic stirrer without heating
The MicroMix is a digital magnetic stirrer designed by Suministros Grupo Esper to meet the requirements of modern laboratories. This device is distinguished by the absence of a heating function, making it particularly suitable for applications where precise temperature control is not necessary, but where effective and constant stirring is essential.
Designed with a robust structure and a high-quality finish, the MicroMix is both durable and ergonomic. It fits perfectly into different laboratory environments thanks to its modern design and compact dimensions. It is equipped with a 150 mm diameter AISI 304 stainless steel plate, ensuring excellent resistance to chemicals and easy cleaning.
The MicroMix is fully digital, with a microprocessor that controls the stirring speed with great precision. The speed range extends from 200 to 1500 rpm, with a resolution of 20 rpm, allowing precise adjustment according to experimental requirements. A backlit LCD display continuously shows the selected speed and actual speed, as well as the built-in timer. The timer can be set from 0 to 120 minutes and triggers an audible alarm at the end of the cycle.
One of the key features of the MicroMix is its smooth, gradual start-up, designed to preserve the magnetic coupling between the stirrer and the magnet. This mechanism limits the risk of misalignment or loss of stirring, even at high speeds. It also ensures stable operation, regardless of variations in sample viscosity.
In the event of a power failure, the device restarts automatically with the previously used settings. An incident symbol appears on the display to alert the user that an interruption has occurred, thus ensuring the traceability of the experimental conditions.
The MicroMix is available in two models: the MC08E for volumes up to 8 litres and the MC20E for volumes up to 20 litres. Both models offer a power output of 12 W and 30 W respectively and support maximum viscosities of 10 and 40 cSt. With a light weight (between 3 and 3.2 kg) and IP52 protection against water splashes and dust, this stirrer combines portability, safety and performance.
