Euromex BB.1153-PLi Microscope – A microscope designed for excellence in education and life sciences
The Euromex BB.1153-PLi microscope embodies Dutch expertise in optics and meets the requirements of modern educational and scientific environments. Designed for demanding users, this model combines performance, ergonomics and durability.
One of the strengths of the BB.1153-PLi is its infinity-corrected optical system (IOS), which guarantees superior image quality, better field flatness and optimal light transmission. Equipped with 45 mm parfocal IOS plan objectives, this model includes the following configurations: 4x/0.10, 10x/0.25, S40x/0.65 and S100x/1.25 immersion. All objectives are anti-reflective and anti-fungal coated, and the high-magnification lenses are equipped with a safety spring to prevent damage during focusing.
The BB.1153-PLi is available in binocular or trinocular versions with 30° inclined and adjustable tubes (48–75 mm). The trinocular model has a fixed optical path with 50:50 light splitter and erect image, ideal for photography and documentation applications.
The head rotates 360° and has +5 dioptre correction on the left tube. The wide WF10x/20 mm eyepieces ensure a comfortable and wide view.
The microscope is equipped with an integrated rackless mechanical stage (150 x 140 mm) with 75 x 30 mm XY travel, facilitating sample handling and precise observation. A coaxial focusing system with friction control, adjustable stop and fine graduation (1.5 µm) ensures quick and precise adjustment. The total travel is approximately 28 mm.
The integrated 3W NeoLED™ light source provides increased illumination power with high efficiency and uniform distribution. The power supply is compatible with 100–240 V AC, ensuring international use.
The BB.1153-PLi microscope is also equipped with an adjustable Abbe condenser (N.A. 1.25) with iris diaphragm and filter holder. A white filter is included as standard.
The structure of the BB.1153-PLi is protected by APL® coating, an innovative antimicrobial layer that limits the growth of bacteria and mould on the most sensitive surfaces.
Weighing 5.6 kg and measuring 448 x 205 x 260 mm, this microscope is easy to transport thanks to its integrated handle. It also features a Kensington security system on the rear to prevent theft.
