OEC MiniView 6800: Precision and Performance for Extremity Imaging
The OEC MiniView 6800 is a compact and high-performance solution for medical imaging of extremities. Designed to meet the needs of orthopedic services, operating rooms, and emergency departments, it combines excellent image quality with ergonomics tailored for healthcare professionals. This mini C-arm offers the capabilities of a full radiology system in a reduced format, making it easy to use in surgery or specialized consultations.
High-definition image processing (1k x 1k, 16 bits) delivers precise results with great clarity. Its image intensifier sensor optimizes resolution and contrast for immediate and effective reading of radiographic images. Smart Metal technology further enhances image quality by mitigating interferences caused by metallic materials, reducing the need for manual adjustments of brightness and contrast.
With a dual 19-inch monitor system, the device provides optimal viewing in various formats. The touchscreen interface simplifies image management, allowing for annotation, archiving, and reviewing of images with ease. Internal storage can hold up to 800 images, with an option to export to removable media or DICOM servers for seamless integration into existing medical infrastructures.
Designed for intuitive and autonomous use, the OEC MiniView 6800 allows surgeons to operate it directly from the surgical field using controls located on either side of the X-ray tube. It generally does not require additional assistance, optimizing workflow and reducing the need for medical personnel. Its bilateral control panel enables quick and precise adjustment of imaging parameters without interrupting the procedure.
Thanks to its ergonomic design, this mini C-arm offers great freedom of movement. Its counterbalanced C-arm and adjustable joints allow for 220° lateral rotation and 115° orbital movement, ensuring optimal flexibility for patient positioning. The device can be height-adjusted by 28 inches (71 cm) to accommodate various operating table configurations and standing examinations.
In addition to its static imaging performance, the OEC MiniView 6800 includes a dynamic capture function that records a sequence of images as a video at 15 frames per second (12 fps at 50 Hz). This feature is particularly useful for motion studies and post-operative follow-up, while limiting radiation exposure with its low-dose mode.
The system is designed for easy transport and installation in confined spaces. Its footprint is reduced to 1.5 m², with a parking arm that ensures easy movement. Installation requires only an electrical connection and a one-touch startup, making it quick and efficient to deploy.
Compliant with international medical standards (FDA, CE, ISO 9001), it meets the quality and safety requirements of healthcare facilities. Its software and modular architecture ensure long-term integration into any medical environment.
