Thermo Scientific™ MSC-Advantage™ Class II Biological Safety Cabinets are designed to offer an optimal combination of safety, energy efficiency, reliability and ergonomics. These state-of-the-art cabinets are ideal for laboratories requiring maximum protection against biological hazards and contamination, while ensuring a comfortable and productive working environment.

Thanks to their patented airflow design and energy-efficient DC motors, MSC-Advantage™ cabinets consume up to 68% less energy than traditional models equipped with AC motors. This exceptional energy efficiency not only reduces operating costs, but also minimises the laboratory's carbon footprint.

MSC-Advantage™ cabinets are certified to EN 12469, ensuring optimal protection for users and products. They are available in four different sizes to suit a variety of laboratory needs and configurations. In addition, they can be connected to an external exhaust system to provide additional protection against traces of toxic volatile chemicals used in the cabinet.

Ergonomics and user comfort were key considerations in the design of MSC-Advantage™ cabinets. They feature an intuitive control panel  that displays essential safety and performance data, enabling easy and continuous monitoring of working conditions. The smart-clean front window makes it easy to load and clean bulky equipment, while bright lighting and low noise levels improve user concentration and comfort.

MSC-Advantage™ cabinets are also equipped with SmartFlow™ technology, which automates airflow balancing and compensation, and the Digital Airflow Verification (DAVe) system, which alerts users if product and operator protection is compromised. HEPA H14 filters effectively remove airborne contaminants, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
