The Tomey MR-6000 - The unit that brings together five crucial eye examinations and integrates an application for observing dry eye syndrome.
With the advantage of automatic alignment, this unit speeds up workflow and makes it more efficient, simplifying clinical processes.
This multifunctional unit offers a complete range of examinations, covering objective refraction, keratometry, topography, tonometry, pachymetry, as well as an application dedicated to the observation of dry eye syndrome. The Dry Eye Syndrome application evaluates blink frequency, tear meniscus height, hyperemia and Meibomius gland observation, providing a comprehensive assessment of dry eye.
The fast refraction mode supports the rapid acquisition of refraction values in seconds, even in the event of loss of fixation, making it ideal for patients with nystagmus, children or uncooperative patients.
The MR-6000 incorporates new air-flow technology for a smooth, user-friendly puff of air. Automatic IOP correction mode uses pachymetry values to adjust IOP, improving measurement accuracy.
Topography is performed using 16 Mire rings, examining an area 8 mm in diameter. Several topographic maps, including Fourier analysis, offer a variety of options for visualizing the corneal shape.
Extended automatic alignment by image recognition and automatic pick-up support simplify operation for the operator. What's more, electrical changeover of the measuring cone enables rapid switching between measurement modes.
Pupil and corneal diameters (WTW) are measured at each topography, and a manual correction is used to adjust the measurement points.
