The device excels in the screening of ocular pathologies, offering a fully automated, delegable examination, thus reducing unnecessary travel. Visualization of lens opacities helps optimize surgical outcomes by integrating posterior corneal keratometry into intraocular lens (IOL) calculations. The Kappa angle is also taken into account to avoid post-operative decentering.

For practitioners involved in refractive surgery, the VX 130+ enables objective refraction day and night, analyzing visual acuity and quality of vision on a pupil as small as 1.2 mm. In addition, it offers continuous keratoconus monitoring, enabling precise fitting of rigid or ortho-k contact lenses in a single step.

Glaucoma monitoring is simplified by checking and monitoring iridocorneal angle, anterior chamber volume, intraocular pressure (IOP) and pachymetry-weighted IOP. This feature enables efficient planning of laser treatment or surgery, ensuring preventive and proactive management.
