The Thermo Scientific™ mySPIN™ 6 is a benchtop mini centrifuge designed to deliver reliable performance and ease of use in laboratory environments. Thanks to its ergonomic design and small size, it fits easily into any workstation, while ensuring maximum efficiency for common applications such as cell separation by microfiltration or HPLC sample preparation.
This model is particularly appreciated for its ease of use: no tools are required to change the rotors, and its palm-shaped lid is suitable for both right- and left-handed users. The integrated safety system prevents the device from operating if the lid is not closed properly, thus reducing the risk of accidents.
The mySPIN™ 6 is compatible with two types of rotors: a circular rotor for 1.5/2.0 mL tubes and a rotor for 0.2 mL PCR tubes (strips or single tubes). Adapters are also provided for 0.2 mL and 0.5 mL tubes, allowing for great flexibility depending on the protocol requirements.
It is remarkably quiet (51–53 dB) with low vibration, improving everyday working comfort. It reaches a maximum speed of 6,000 rpm and a relative centrifugal force (RCF) of 2,000 x g, sufficient for most standard applications.
