NGM: controlled performance for demanding laboratory requirements
CMC Instruments' NGM series nitrogen generators are designed to provide a constant and stable flow of nitrogen with a high degree of purity, reaching up to 99.5%. Thanks to the use of hollow fibre membranes developed in-house by CMC Instruments, each generator guarantees increased durability and controlled gas quality. This equipment is particularly suitable for laboratory environments where precision and consistency are paramount, such as in LC-MS applications, HPLC chromatography, tank purging or use in glove boxes.
The internal structure of the NGM series is based on multi-stage filtration including three particle filters, which significantly reduces the stress on the membrane itself. This results in extended service life and long-term performance stability. Unlike other systems with internal compressors, which can introduce heat, vibrations or condensation, the NGM series is designed to work with a remote compressor or an internal compressed air system, ensuring impeccable gas quality and significantly reducing maintenance requirements.
Ease of use is also a strong point of the series: all models are equipped with a flow meter, gas inlet and outlet pressure gauges, flow adjustment and a shut-off valve, all accessible from the front panel. These features greatly facilitate adjustment and real-time monitoring. The installation is compatible with all major brands of analytical instruments, including Thermo Fisher, Agilent, AB Sciex, Waters, Shimadzu and Bruker.
The series offers several standard capacities (NGM-11, NGM-22, NGM-44, NGM-68) that can supply up to six LC-MS instruments simultaneously. Each model is distinguished by its maximum flow rate and dimensions, meeting the specific requirements of each laboratory. This flexibility, combined with zero energy consumption, low cost of ownership and proven reliability, makes NGM generators a strategic choice for modern laboratories.
