The TX-F non-contact tonometer - efficient, precise eye measurement,
The tonometer offers the flexibility to choose between three operating modes: Full Auto, Auto, or Manual. In Full Auto mode, the TX-F can perform 1 or 3 measurements for each eye, with an automated alignment and measurement process after pressing the Start button. Auto mode automates alignment and measurement for one measurement at a time. In Manual mode, the user has full control over alignment and focusing using the trackball and roller.
The TX-F contributes to rapid diagnosis of ocular hypertension by displaying a warning if high pressure is detected, with the option of setting threshold values to activate the warning system. In Full Auto mode, operation is also interrupted if the set threshold is exceeded.
In the event of a measurement error, the TX-F offers instant visualization of the patient's eye, identifying the potential cause of the error, such as the eyelid, eyelashes, or incorrect positioning of the eye. A short message guides the user to take corrective action, such as adjusting the chinrest or limiter.
Measurement results are displayed during the examination and can be consulted afterwards, listing the IOP measurements stored in the internal memory. The internal memory can store up to 10 measurements for each eye, organized chronologically or by reliability.
The TX-F features a practical control panel, grouping together the buttons for the main functions, making adjustments and mode changes easy. The tonometer uses one of the softest air puffs among non-contact tonometers, enhancing patient comfort.
TX-F benefits include features such as power save mode after 3 minutes of inactivity, fast printing, and an RS232C interface for data transfer to an external device.
