The TRC-NW8 retinal camera - capturing high-resolution images of the retina and the anterior segment of the human eye.
With its user-friendly retinal camera, featuring automatic focus and capture, it provides an efficient solution for ophthalmic imaging.
Equipped with a 16.2-megapixel Nikon digital camera, the TRC-NW8 allows for quick and easy capture of sharp and high-quality images. Its 45° field of view provides a detailed view of the fovea and macula, while the nine internal fixation points facilitate the composition of wide-angle views of the retina. Built-in filters and internal firmware allow users to obtain color, non-red, and non-erythrose images, providing maximum flexibility in ophthalmic imaging.
Key features include easy capture of sharp images with Topcon's omnidirectional joystick, high-quality 16.2 MP images, automatic focus, automatic shooting, and an automatic small pupil detector. The red-free optical filter contributes to precise imaging, while the 45° field of view, combined with the Nikon camera, allows for zooming in on the finest details.
The nine fixation points can be brought together using the IMAGEnet i-base software, providing a comprehensive overview. Stereoscopic photography and a true non-erythrose filter are included as standard.
Easy to use, the TRC-NW8 is activated by a lever and has a minimal number of buttons. Automatic trigger, automatic focus, and automatic exposure functions ensure sharp images with many details. The practitioner can easily switch between color and non-erythrose image modes to meet specific ophthalmic examination needs.
The Topcon TRC-NW8 retinal camera also ensures patient comfort with a low flash intensity, providing more comfort to the patient and allowing the practitioner to capture more images in a shorter amount of time. A minimum pupil size of 3.3 mm is required for imaging, but this can be reduced to 4.0 mm or more when using the reduced pupil aperture.
