Miele O 175: upper basket for specific laboratory requirements
The Miele O 175 is an upper basket designed to meet the specific needs of narrow-necked laboratory glassware. Its stainless steel construction not only makes it extremely robust, but also corrosion-resistant, which is essential in an environment where chemicals and repeated wash cycles can be demanding on equipment. This basket offers optimised organisation of glassware thanks to a layout that holds each item securely in place, reducing the risk of damage during washing. The useful vertical height of 170 mm ensures compatibility with a wide range of items, while maintaining an efficient layout that optimises the cleaning and drying flow.
Optimised compatibility and washing performance
This model is specifically designed for Miele PG 8535 and PG 8536 washer-disinfectors, ensuring seamless integration into existing washing processes. It can hold up to 33 narrow-necked glassware items, providing sufficient capacity for intensive use in research laboratories, quality control centres or educational establishments. The O 175 is equipped with a connection for hot air drying, ensuring complete treatment that reduces drying time and minimises the risk of contamination. Although powder distribution is not possible with this model, its design prioritises efficient water and air circulation, ensuring uniform cleaning, even for items with complex shapes.
Durable and ergonomic equipment for specialised glassware
Weighing only 6.3 kg, the O 175 remains easy to handle while offering rock-solid robustness. Its dimensions, designed to optimise space inside the machine, allow for stable positioning without compromising total washing capacity. Its stainless steel construction facilitates maintenance and ensures a long service life, even with frequent use.
This basket has 33 E 351 injection nozzles, each with a diameter of 4 mm and a length of 160 mm, as well as 33 E 353 clips for optimal nozzle retention. The assembly allows for precise positioning of parts and even distribution of water and hot air, ensuring impeccable cleanliness. By incorporating the O 175 into their equipment, laboratories benefit from a reliable, high-performance tool specifically designed for the effective treatment of narrow-necked glassware.
