OEC 9900 Elite Vascular MTS: Vascular imaging with Motion Tolerant Subtraction
The OEC 9900 Elite Vascular MTS is designed to meet the highest demands of interventional vascular imaging. Thanks to Motion Tolerant Subtraction (MTS) technology, this system enables effective digital subtraction even when the patient is moving, reducing artefacts and improving image clarity. This feature is essential for dynamic procedures where patient stability cannot be guaranteed.
The Bolus Chase mode, integrated into this configuration, optimises real-time blood flow visualisation, allowing clinicians to track contrast opacification with remarkable accuracy. Combined with a dynamic digital disc capable of recording at 30 frames per second (60 Hz), the system offers frame-by-frame playback and analysis capabilities, which are essential for complex diagnoses.
High-performance imaging technology for maximum accuracy
The system is equipped with a 12"/9"/6" (31/23/15 cm) tri-mode image intensifier, offering a minimum central resolution of 1.6 lp/mm at 12" and up to 2.6 lp/mm at 6". This flexibility allows the field of view to be adapted to clinical needs. The 15 kW high-frequency generator allows for radiographic exposures up to 75 mA, with an anode capacity of 300,000 HU and passive cooling up to 22,500 HU/min.
Dynamic Range Management (DRM) enhances details of interest while attenuating background noise, ensuring consistent image quality. The AutoTrak™ system automatically adjusts exposure parameters (mA, kVp, camera gain) based on the patient's anatomy, ensuring brightness stabilisation and image uniformity.
Integrated ergonomics, connectivity and safety
The OEC 9900 Elite Vascular MTS is compatible with two 18" flat-panel LCD monitors mounted on an articulated arm, providing optimal visibility from any angle in the room. The touchscreen user interface simplifies navigation and reduces procedure time. The system also features a full DICOM interface (storage, printing, worklist, query/retrieval), a CD/DVD burner with DICOM viewer, and HIPAA SecureView® security features.
The configuration includes a dual-blade tungsten rotating collimator, a high-intensity pulsed fluoroscopy mode (up to 40 mA), and an X-ray mode with automatic exposure time control. The system also allows for image annotation, software measurement, zooming and panning, as well as automatic playback of recorded sequences.
