Optimising endoscopic visualisation with the OFP-2
The OFP-2 is designed to meet the growing demands of modern endoscopic procedures. Thanks to its powerful yet controllable peristaltic pump, it ensures effective irrigation via the auxiliary or instrumental channels of Olympus endoscopes. This capability allows for optimal cleaning of the gastric and colonic mucosa, thereby improving visibility, diagnosis and therapeutic interventions.
Extensive compatibility with the EVIS X1, EXERA, LUCERA, Smartage and EUS ranges ensures seamless integration into existing clinical environments. The OFP-2 is also a valuable tool for transendoscopic ultrasound examinations, enabling rapid and controlled filling of the organs to be explored.
Its ergonomic design, with intuitive touch buttons and a bright LED display, makes it easy to use on a daily basis. Microprocessor control ensures consistent flow accuracy, preventing overpressure in Olympus endoscopes.
Safety and performance: the technical advantages of the OFP-2
Safety is at the heart of the OFP-2's design. The system automatically shuts off the pump if the cover is opened during operation, avoiding any risk to the user. Standby mode allows for quick and safe exchange of irrigation tubes without operating the main switch. An automatic 20-second timer ensures controlled irrigation.
The device complies with EN/UL/IEC60601-1 standards, is CE marked and ETL listed, ensuring regulatory reliability in medical environments. Its universal power supply (100–240 V) and low power consumption (100 VA) make it adaptable to different hospital settings.
A versatile tool for modern endoscopy
The OFP-2 stands out for its versatility. It can be used with a wide range of accessories for irrigation via auxiliary channels, instruments or EndoTherapy devices. Disposable (MAJ-1651, MAJ-1652) or semi-reusable (MAJ-1608, MAJ-855) solutions are available, offering flexibility and cost control.
Compatibility with CO₂/Air combined irrigation tubes (MAJ-2207 to MAJ-2210) allows for efficient setup for insufflation, lens cleaning and irrigation from a single water source. The OFP-2 can be controlled via a remote control (MAJ-920) or a foot switch, depending on the practitioner's preference.
